Windows Phone – Mango Update

On the 18th May HSC Tech Support were invited to attend a Windows Phone meeting in London. Attendees of the event are known as VIPs; individuals in the Mobile sector that are known for their expertise in technical sales and services.

One of the big things we discussed at this meeting was Windows Phone Mango, a new update to the existing Windows Phone 7 operating system.
What is Mango? Smarter and Easier ? Communications, Apps and Internet.

Motorola Gleam Review

The Motorola RAZR was praised for its simplicity and easy to use menus and options. Almost 8 years since the first RAZR was released Motorola have decided to recreate this old classic in the shape of the Gleam. Amazing many of the specs have remained exactly the same.
Lets get the main question out of the way; is this a smartphone? The answer is undeniably no. It supports email, makes calls and that is about all.

HTC Wildfire S Review

In a time where mobile devices are becoming smaller and smaller you start to wonder just how small we could possibly make them. Take the X10 Mini Pro for example, a device that is so small the result is the handset becomes uncomfortable to use. The Wildfire S is luckily not that small, but it is still on the miniature size none-the-less and still causes some problems for periods of extended usage.

BlackBerry World 2011 – Good things come to an end, Great things will be back!

Well this is it, BlackBerry World 2011 has come to an end and again we have learnt a massive amount about the BlackBerry solution, new products, new services and generally the direction that RIM are taking with the BlackBerry ecosystem.
I recommend checking back through the blog and digesting the key points so you can start to get ahead of your competition with the BlackBerry solution. We will be developing our service, training and support portfolios alongside the fantastic new products that we have learnt about.

BlackBerry World 2011 – Business Cloud Services

This session was to discuss a new product coming later this year from RIM and set to launch in partnership with Microsoft Online Services. Its their BlackBerry Business Cloud server and is set to revolutionise the way mobile messaging access is deployed, managed and consumed.
Adoption of the cloud is gathering speed day by day thanks to the growing use of web based interfaces, standardised web services and cheaper access to high speed data networks.
